filtered honey
Purified bee nectar
Filtered honey is honey that has been strained to remove wax, pollen, and other particles, producing a clear, smooth product that resists crystallization longer than raw honey.
Most commercial honey is filtered.
The process may also remove some nutrients, leading purists to prefer unfiltered varieties: I switched to raw honey because filtered honey felt too processed.
