Faceplants is the plural of faceplant—a fall in which someone lands face-first on the ground.
The term comes from skateboarding and snowboarding but applies to any such tumble: The compilation video was nothing but faceplants.
As a verb, to faceplant is to fall this way: She faceplanted on the ice.
