Exactas is the plural of exacta, a type of bet in horse racing where you must predict the first two finishers in exact order.
The bet pays well because it's difficult to hit: I hit the exacta in the fifth race.
Also called a perfecta.
In figurative use, an exacta suggests getting two related things precisely right.
