ethics course
Values and principles
An ethics course is a class examining principles of right and wrong conduct, typically offered in academic or professional settings.
Philosophy departments teach ethics as a branch of inquiry; professional schools require ethics courses to address field-specific dilemmas: medical ethics, legal ethics, business ethics.
Workplace ethics courses often follow scandals or satisfy compliance requirements: Everyone had to take the ethics course after the incident.
