ensoul
Give inner life
To ensoul is to endow with a soul or spirit—to give life or animating essence to something.
The word appears in philosophical and theological discussions about when a fetus becomes ensouled, and in fantasy contexts where objects receive consciousness: The wizard ensouled the stone golem.
More abstractly, to ensoul can mean to infuse with deep meaning or vitality.
