end of discussion
No more debate
End of discussion signals that a topic is closed and no further debate will be entertained.
It's typically spoken by someone asserting authority—a parent, boss, or anyone who wants to shut down argument: You're not going to the party, end of discussion.
The phrase can also acknowledge that something is so obviously true it needs no elaboration: She's the best player on the team, end of discussion.
