emoluments

Salary and benefits

Emoluments are payments received for work—salary, fees, or other compensation.

The word is formal and somewhat old-fashioned, appearing most often in legal or governmental contexts: The Constitution prohibits federal officials from accepting emoluments from foreign governments.

The singular emolument exists but is rare; the plural dominates.
