efflorescent
Bursting into bloom
Efflorescent describes something that is flowering or blooming, literally or figuratively.
A garden at peak bloom is efflorescent; so is a culture experiencing creative flourishing.
In chemistry, efflorescent substances lose water and form a powdery coating when exposed to air—a crystalline "blooming" on the surface.
The efflorescent period of Renaissance art produced masterworks we still study today.
