effaceable

Able to disappear

Effaceable describes something that can be erased, rubbed out, or otherwise removed from a surface or from memory.

The word applies both to physical marks the pencil lines were easily effaceable and to abstract things like impressions or recollections the trauma proved less effaceable than she had hoped.

It is the opposite of indelible and appears most often in formal or literary contexts.
