early boarding
First onto plane
Early boarding is the practice of allowing certain passengers to board a plane, train, or ship before general boarding begins.
Airlines typically offer early boarding to first-class passengers, families with small children, or loyalty program members.
It can also be purchased as an upgrade: I paid extra for early boarding so I could stow my bag in the overhead bin.
