drunken boxing
Tipsy martial art
Drunken boxing is a Chinese martial arts style that mimics the movements of an intoxicated person—swaying, stumbling, and appearing off-balance while actually maintaining precise control.
The unpredictable motion confuses opponents and disguises attacks.
Also called *zuiquan*.
The style gained Western recognition through kung fu films: Jackie Chan's drunken boxing scenes are legendary.
