dictatorship of the proletariat
Workers control everything
Dictatorship of the proletariat is a Marxist term for the transitional phase between capitalism and communism, during which the working class holds political power and suppresses the former ruling class.
Despite "dictatorship," the concept theoretically means rule by the majority over the few who previously exploited them.
In practice, communist states used the phrase to justify one-party rule: The Soviet Union claimed to govern as a dictatorship of the proletariat.
