depressurizations
Cabin air escapes
Depressurizations are instances of pressure being reduced or released from an enclosed space.
The term appears most often in aviation, where cabin depressurization—loss of air pressure at high altitude—can be dangerous or fatal: Emergency oxygen masks deploy during rapid depressurizations.
The word also applies to spacecraft, submarines, and industrial systems where pressure must be carefully controlled.
