deep-throat
Shadowy government source
Deep-throat as a verb means to take a penis fully into the mouth and throat during oral sex, or to insert something similarly deep into the throat.
The term gained widespread recognition from the 1972 pornographic film of the same name.
It later became famous as the pseudonym for the anonymous Watergate informant, spawning the extended meaning of a confidential source who leaks inside information: The reporter's deep-throat at the agency confirmed the cover-up.
