Curbside collection is the pickup of waste, recycling, or other materials left at the edge of a property near the street.
Residents place bins or bags at the curb on designated days for municipal or private haulers to collect: Curbside collection runs on Tuesdays in our neighborhood.
The term also applies to scheduled pickup of bulky items like furniture or yard waste.
