ctrl z

Take it back

Ctrl+Z is the keyboard shortcut for undo on Windows and most software—it reverses your last action, whether deleting text, moving a file, or making an edit.

The command has become cultural shorthand for wishing you could take something back: I said something stupid and immediately wanted to ctrl+z my whole life.

On Mac, the equivalent is Command+Z.
