counterfoils
Kept ticket halves
Counterfoils are the stubs or detachable portions of checks, tickets, or receipts that remain with the issuer as a record after the main part is given away.
When you write a check, the counterfoil stays in your checkbook showing the date, amount, and recipient: She recorded each payment on the counterfoil.
