coteacher
Shared instruction colleague
A coteacher is a teacher who shares instructional responsibilities with another teacher, typically in the same classroom.
The arrangement is common in inclusive education, where a general education teacher and special education teacher work together: My coteacher handles the small-group instruction while I lead the main lesson.
Also spelled co-teacher.
