compression boots
Inflatable leg sleeves
Compression boots are inflatable sleeves worn on the legs that rhythmically squeeze and release to promote blood circulation.
Athletes use them for recovery after intense training, and medical versions help prevent blood clots in patients with limited mobility: I put on my compression boots after the marathon.
Also called recovery boots or pneumatic compression devices.
