cocktail napkin
Tiny drink square
A cocktail napkin is a small square napkin, typically paper, provided with drinks at bars and parties.
Smaller than dinner napkins, they're meant for wiping fingers or setting glasses on.
The phrase cocktail napkin sketch or back of a cocktail napkin suggests something hastily conceived—a business plan or diagram scribbled during drinks: The whole company started as a cocktail napkin idea.
