Skipping shampoo entirely
Co-washing is washing hair with conditioner instead of shampoo.
The practice preserves natural oils and moisture, making it popular among people with curly, coily, or dry hair: I switched to co-washing and my curls have never looked better.
Some conditioners are formulated specifically for this purpose.
