A class meeting is a scheduled gathering of students in a particular course or grade level.
In schools, it typically refers to a homeroom or advisory period where administrative matters are addressed.
In universities, it means a regular session of a course: I have a class meeting at 10 AM.
The term also applies to reunions of graduating classes: the class of 1985 meeting.
