civet cat
Kopi luwak processor
A civet cat is a small, slender mammal native to Africa and Asia, resembling a cat but more closely related to mongooses.
Civets are nocturnal and omnivorous, known for the musky secretion from their perineal glands—historically used in perfumery.
The term sometimes refers loosely to similar animals like the African palm civet or Asian palm civet, the latter famously associated with kopi luwak coffee.
