circular arguments
Logic chasing itself
Circular arguments are reasoning that assumes what it's trying to prove—the conclusion appears, often disguised, among the premises.
The Bible is true because it's the word of God, and we know it's God's word because the Bible says so.
Also called begging the question, though that phrase now commonly means raising a question rather than evading one.

- fallaciesInvalid logical arguments
- sophistriesMisleading logical tricks
- logical fallacyError in reasoning
