cigar shape
Blunt rounded cylinder
A cigar shape is the elongated cylindrical form with tapered or rounded ends characteristic of a cigar.
The term appears most often in descriptions of unidentified flying objects: Witnesses reported a cigar-shaped craft hovering over the field.
It also describes anything with that distinctive silhouette—certain fish, blimps, or architectural elements.
