chilled water
Cooled drinking water
Chilled water is water that has been cooled, typically to around 40–55°F, for use in climate control systems.
Large buildings circulate chilled water through pipes to air handlers, cooling spaces more efficiently than individual air conditioning units.
The term also appears in hospitality contexts for cold drinking water: Would you like still, sparkling, or chilled water?
