Reckless automotive stunt
Car surfing is riding on the exterior of a moving vehicle—typically standing on the roof or hood, or clinging to the side—while someone else drives.
The practice is extremely dangerous and has caused numerous deaths, usually from falls at speed.
It emerged as a youth thrill-seeking activity and appears in stunt videos: Three teens were injured car surfing on the highway.
