Small hair holders
Butterfly clips are small hair accessories with two hinged wings that open when pressed and grip hair when released, resembling a butterfly's wings in motion.
They hold small sections of hair in place during styling or keep stray pieces pinned back: She sectioned her hair with butterfly clips while blow-drying.
Also called claw clips when larger, or sometimes confused with the similarly named but differently designed snap barrettes.
