brine tank
Saline solution container
A brine tank is a container holding a concentrated salt solution, most commonly part of a water softener system.
The brine regenerates the softener's resin beads, restoring their ability to remove minerals from hard water.
Brine tanks also appear in food processing for pickling and curing, and in industrial applications like refrigeration systems.
