braille alphabet
Reading by touch
The braille alphabet is a system of raised dots that blind people read by touch.
Each letter is represented by a pattern of one to six dots arranged in a two-by-three cell.
The system extends beyond letters to include numbers, punctuation, and common words.
Named after its inventor, Louis Braille.
