bouldering wall
Indoor rock face
A bouldering wall is an artificial climbing surface designed for climbing without ropes, typically lower than fifteen feet with thick crash pads below.
Unlike taller climbing walls requiring harnesses and belays, bouldering walls emphasize short, intense routes called problems: The gym just installed a new bouldering wall with overhangs.
