bond holders
Fixed-income investors
Bond holders are investors who own bonds—debt securities issued by governments, corporations, or other entities.
When you buy a bond, you're essentially lending money to the issuer in exchange for periodic interest payments and eventual return of principal.
Bond holders are creditors, not owners, so they have priority over stockholders if an organization goes bankrupt: Bond holders were paid first when the company liquidated its assets.
