big spenders
Those who splurge
Big spenders are people who spend money freely and lavishly, especially on luxury items or entertainment.
The term can be admiring or ironic depending on context: The casino rolls out the red carpet for big spenders.
Politicians use it critically to describe those who favor generous government expenditure: fiscal conservatives versus big spenders.
