battery health
Power cell condition
Battery health is a measure of a rechargeable battery's current capacity and performance compared to when it was new.
All rechargeable batteries degrade over time, holding less charge and delivering less power.
Battery health, expressed as a percentage, tells you how much of the original capacity remains: My phone's battery health dropped to 85% after two years.
Devices may recommend battery replacement when health falls below a threshold.
