Strap width number
Band size is the measurement around a person's torso just below the bust, used to determine bra fit.
It's expressed as an even number in inches (32, 34, 36) or centimeters depending on region.
The band provides most of a bra's support, so proper band size matters more than cup size for comfort: She went down a band size after losing weight.
Combined with cup size, it forms the complete bra measurement.
