bad boss
Micromanager from hell
A bad boss is a supervisor or manager who makes work miserable through incompetence, cruelty, or neglect.
The term covers everything from micromanagers to screamers to those who take credit for others' work: I've had demanding bosses, but never a truly bad boss until now.
Bad boss stories are a staple of workplace conversation and a genre unto themselves.
