animal behaviorists
Wildlife mind experts
Animal behaviorists are scientists who study how animals act, interact, and respond to their environments.
The field spans wild and domestic species, examining everything from mating rituals to problem behaviors in pets.
Some work in research settings observing animals in natural habitats; others help dog owners understand why their pet won't stop barking: The animal behaviorist suggested the cat's aggression stemmed from territorial anxiety.
