air cast
Pneumatic limb support
An air cast is a medical brace that uses inflatable air bladders to immobilize and cushion an injured limb, typically the ankle or lower leg.
Unlike traditional plaster casts, air casts can be removed for bathing and adjusted for swelling: The doctor put me in an air cast for six weeks after I sprained my ankle.
