aggregate score
Sum of points
An aggregate score combines results from multiple games, rounds, or components into a single total.
The term appears most often in sports contexts where teams play home-and-away matches, with the winner determined by the combined score across both legs: They won 3-1 on aggregate despite losing the away match.
Aggregate scores also figure in competitions, standardized testing, and any situation where separate performances are summed to determine an overall result.
