accordion fold
Fan-style paper creasing
An accordion fold is a method of folding paper or other material into alternating back-and-forth pleats, resembling the bellows of an accordion.
Each fold reverses direction from the previous one, creating a zigzag pattern: The brochure was printed on a single sheet with an accordion fold.
Common in pamphlets, maps, and decorative crafts.
