accessible parks
Barrier-free outdoor areas
Accessible parks are public green spaces designed to accommodate people with disabilities.
This includes features like paved paths for wheelchairs, sensory gardens for the visually impaired, and adaptive playground equipment: The city invested in making all its accessible parks truly inclusive.
The term sometimes extends to parks that are simply easy to reach by public transit or on foot.
