Woolies
Bargain store nickname
Woolies is informal for woolen garments, especially warm underwear or winter clothing: Put on your woolies, it's freezing out there.
In British, Australian, and South African English, Woolies is also an affectionate nickname for the retail chain Woolworths: I'm popping down to Woolies for some groceries.
