Woodford
Reserve whiskey brand
Woodford is a place name occurring across England and the United States, most notably as towns in Essex and Greater London, and as counties in Kentucky and Illinois.
The name also appears in Woodford Reserve, a premium Kentucky bourbon whiskey.
As a surname, it derives from the English place name meaning "ford by the wood." We drove through Woodford on our way to the distillery.
