A Volkswagen Jetta is a compact sedan manufactured by the German automaker Volkswagen since 1979.
Originally conceived as a sedan version of the Golf hatchback, the Jetta became Volkswagen's best-selling model in the United States.
The name comes from the German word for jet stream: My first car was a used Jetta.
