Vicks
Mentholated cold remedy
Vicks is a brand of over-the-counter cold and flu remedies, most famously the mentholated ointment VapoRub, rubbed on the chest or dissolved in hot water for inhaling.
The name has become nearly generic for such products: Put some Vicks on it.
Other Vicks products include cough drops, nasal sprays, and humidifiers.
