Vanilla Sky
Lucid dream thriller
Vanilla Sky is a 2001 American psychological thriller film directed by Cameron Crowe, starring Tom Cruise as a disfigured man whose reality becomes increasingly unstable.
The title comes from the distinctive sky in Monet's paintings.
The film is a remake of the Spanish film *Abre los Ojos* (Open Your Eyes).
That plot twist was very Vanilla Sky.
