Uncle Ben's
Boxed rice company
Uncle Ben's is a brand of rice products, particularly known for parboiled and instant rice varieties.
The name and packaging historically featured an elderly Black man, imagery that drew criticism as evoking racist stereotypes.
The brand was renamed Ben's Original in 2020.
I just throw some Uncle Ben's in the rice cooker.
