The Comedy of Errors
Shakespearean identity chaos
A play by William Shakespeare, among his earliest comedies, built on mistaken identity between two sets of identical twins.
The title has become a phrase for any situation where confusion compounds upon confusion: The whole renovation project became a comedy of errors.
