Sun-like

Resembling our star

Sun-like describes something resembling our Sun in characteristics or appearance.

In astronomy, a Sun-like star has similar mass, temperature, and spectral type to our own star: The telescope identified several Sun-like stars that might host habitable planets.

More casually, Sun-like can describe any warm, radiant quality: a Sun-like glow.
