Ricky Ricardo
Ricky Ricardo is a fictional character from the American television sitcom *I Love Lucy* (1951–1957), played by Desi Arnaz.
A Cuban bandleader married to the zany Lucy, he became iconic for his accented English, exasperated outbursts of Spanish, and the catchphrase Lucy, you got some 'splainin' to do.
The character remains a touchstone for Latin representation in early American television.
